Meet the Team

Ian has over 40 years experience in commercial property providing specialist strategic and investment advice on acquisitions and disposals to a wide client base within the property sector.

He set up his own practice, Featherstone Griffiths Jerram in 1987 and through a series of mergers and acquisitions became Head of Property Investment at Dunlop Heywood responsible for the national investment team where in their final year the team transacted over £1.2bn of deals. During his time there Ian helped set up and acquire circa £100m of investments for property fund BFS Managed Properties Ltd and circa £500 million of investments for private Dublin based fund Brookdale Group including a number of Central London transactions.

Ian has had a number of advisory roles which include:-

  • Former Head of Real Estate at merchant bank Salamanca Group where he acquired over £150 million of Central London real estate for clients.
  • Head of Property at Host Capital who are an independent Authorised Corporate Director authorised and regulated in the UK by the Financial Conduct Authority.
  • Advisor to Brookdale Group asset managing their UK portfolio which at one stage had a rent roll of over £26 million per annum.

Martin is an external consultant working on the acquisition of new properties together with client and bank reporting. 

Before joining Pembrey, Martin worked for Salamanca Group in the real estate department helping offshore clients to acquire real estate assets in Central London.

Martin has also experience of investment and asset management at AEW Europe (London office) where he was working on office, retail and logistics deals across Europe. Before joining AEW Europe, Martin worked for Quinlan Private Golub in Prague where he worked on residential and office developments across the CEE region.

Martin has an MBA degree from DePaul University, Chicago and also speaks Slovak and Czech.
